Greetings,

Slowly but surely, the Tribe of Don has been relocating from the windy and wet hills of Washington State to the drier climate of Colorado State. Also, there are many other interesting developments, such as the creation of a micronation, which information will be hosted by the Y Doniad web team (The Sovereign Kingdom of Avalon), the slow reading of ancient Brehon Texts and formulating them for use by more "modern and civilized" men and women of today.

Keep a watch out on our site for more updates...

Greetings Everyone!

My name is Lleffer Mawr, and I am the Founder and current President (which we call a Pendraig, "Head of the Dragon"), of the Celtic Church of Y Doniad, LLC. Recently we have been updating our web site, making it more relevant to individuals interested in such topics as Neotribalism, British Traditional Witchcraft, and particularly, our own brand of Heathenry, Cymry Gwyddoniad! One of the first things I need to mention is that we are NOT WICCAN. We are polytheists, meaning that we believe that our Gods and Goddesses are not some sort of duality, or monotheistic conglomerate. Each entity is unique in its own right. Each God or Goddess has its own character, its own personality, and its own likes and dislikes.

Furthermore, we are tribalistic in orientation. Nor, are we necessarily Celtic (this being a general term for many different races of mankind). The Celtic Church seemed like an appropriate word selection as The Tribe of Y Donaid, sounded a little too New Agey, or even cult-like in its presentation. We are indeed a "religious" organization, and do utilize those teachings and documents that have been previously termed Celtic in origin (Irish, Manx, Scottish, "Welsh", Cornish, and Brittani).

We are a very small group, we do not "train probationary Wise Ones", nor grant Initiations and the like. We know that true "Initiation" comes from the Gods and Lady Fate themselves, and not by any mechanism to be found in the "real world". Any ritual we utilize are for the tribe as a whole to recognize steps in growth.

What also separates us from various other Churches, Covens and the like, is that we will NEVER tax incorporate. We are a fellowship of men and women whom choose to live in a way that is Earth-bound. We have jobs, we provide and protect, and many of us are politically active. In order to protect ourselves from lawsuits, we will never incorporate but view any actions of the "church" as the actions of individuals, thus, not threatening the integrity of the Church itself, nor view it as corporate personhood, that pervades the American so
